As part of the process of registering as a charity, the Charity Commission requires charities to demonstrate they know and understand the operational risks associated with their objectives and activities. This is a different kind of risk assessment to the one which we encourage caving expeditions to undertake to help reduce the objective risks arising from the hazards that cavers face as a normal part of their activity.
